2.) Presentation Review-
The presentation went very smoothly and well. We completed the presentation in the appropriate time limit. The judges liked our presentation and the idea it presented. They thought that the problem of headphones getting tangled is a real problem world wide. The problem they had with our prototype was that it was very bulky and not very aesthetically pleasing. If we were to do it again, we would use a thinner material and try to actually wire the headphones inside the silicone to make a permanent pair of headphones.

5.) Copy of a Thank you note-
Mr. Habeger,
We would like to thank you so much for investing your valuable time in order to help us succeed. It’s nice to have someone to turn to when you are stuck, or in need of assistance. Your experience and expertise in the engineering field provided us with the key resources we needed to unlock our full potential and create a completely original product. Your insight was truly appreciated, not only did you fill our minds with great ideas, but you also showed us the reality behind the design process, and let us know change is sometimes a good thing. It has been quite a wild ride designing our own product, and I feel if we had to do it again we would make some crucial changes, however our mentor would not be one of those changes. You gave us things to think about when designing our product, such as cost, ability to be produced, demand, etc. It’s great to see someone who still has such a passion for the field that even through retirement you are committed to the next generation of engineering. It’s a true relief working with someone who knows the design process like the back of their hand. Your ability to be flexible was also phenomenal, we weren’t the most schedule-friendly group, but you always made time to come in and help whenever we needed. You are truly the definition of a mentor and an advisor, and once again we cannot stress your importance to our product.
Sincerely,
Patrick Devenny
